On Tuesday, October 24th, the University community gathered to honour and express gratitude to five members of the Governing Council, whose terms concluded this month. They included Prof. James Kungú, Dr. Daniel Wachira, Dr. George Kimeu, Arch. Irene Okeyo, and Mr. Samuel Makome.

Led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Margaret J. Muthwii, the appreciation service took place at the Thika Road campus during the weekly Chapel Service. The Vice Chancellor, in her address, highlighted the great contributions they made, acknowledging their invaluable impact on the University.

The five individuals later attended the official opening of the Postgraduate Research Commons and the Eden Restaurant immediately after the service.
